New Orleans, LA, October 17, 2025 The Paul Quinn College volleyball team fell to Dillard University 3–0 (32–30, 25–22, 25–20) on Friday evening in a non-conference matchup at Dent Hall. The loss dropped the Tigers to 13–12 overall and 5–3 in conference play, while Dillard improved to 12–7 overall and an impressive 8–1 in league action.
Dillard's Offensive Firepower Dominates
Dillard showcased a balanced and efficient attack throughout the match, hitting .308 as a team with 58 kills and 54 assists. Senior outside hitter Makaela Swoopes led the charge, posting 20 kills on .500 hitting, along with four digs to anchor both the offense and defense.
Other key contributors included Cadence Thomas with 11 kills and three block assists and Sarai Rogers adding seven kills, helping Dillard maintain pressure at the net throughout all three sets.

For the Tigers, A'Niyah Harrison led the team offensively with 12 points, hitting .258 while adding nine digs and two solo blocks. Jakayla Morrow contributed 10 kills on .368 hitting, and Carrie Weston added nine points, recording three block assists and seven digs. Laila Beck had eight points with four block assists, anchoring the middle effectively.
