Dallas, TX September 27 In front of a supportive home crowd of 104 fans, the Paul Quinn Tigers (8-10, 4-1) powered past Philander Smith (6-8, 1-4) with a 3–1 win on Tuesday afternoon. The Tigers used balanced offense, timely defense, and strong serving to secure the victory in four sets (25-19, 25-21, 21-25, 25-21).
Fast Start from the Tigers
Paul Quinn came out aggressively in the opening set, hitting .295 as a team. Led by Carrie Weston's 19 kills on .311 hitting, the Tigers built momentum early and took control with a 25-19 win.
