Alshaunda Roberts enters her second year as Head Women's Basketball Coach at Paul Quinn College and serves as the Chair of Women's Basketball for the HBCU Athletic Conference (HBCUAC). A respected leader, program builder, and mentor, Roberts has established herself as one of the emerging coaches in collegiate women's basketball through her commitment to student-athlete development, competitive excellence, and championship culture.

In her first season leading the Paul Quinn women's basketball program (2025–26), Roberts orchestrated one of the most successful seasons in program history. The Tigers finished with a 15–10 overall record and an 8–4 conference mark while posting a dominant 10–3 record at home. Under her leadership, Paul Quinn earned a berth in the national tournament in Buffalo, New York, advanced to the National Championship Game with two tournament victories, and finished the season as National Runner-Up.

Roberts' impact extends far beyond wins and losses. She has built a culture centered on accountability, discipline, academic achievement, and personal growth, creating an environment where student-athletes thrive both on and off the court. Her leadership has positioned the program for sustained success while fostering meaningful experiences that prepare student-athletes for life after basketball.

In recognition of her leadership and commitment to advancing women's basketball, Roberts was selected to serve as Chair of Women's Basketball for the HBCU Athletic Conference, where she collaborates with conference institutions to support the continued growth and visibility of the sport.

With more than a decade of collegiate coaching experience, Roberts possesses expertise in every aspect of program management, including recruiting, player development, game strategy, practice planning, scouting, academic monitoring, compliance, budgeting, fundraising, scheduling, travel operations, and staff leadership. She is recognized for her ability to identify and develop talent while cultivating competitive teams built on trust, resilience, and excellence.

Roberts also holds certification through the International Sports Sciences Association (ISSA), further strengthening her commitment to holistic student-athlete development through performance training, conditioning, and wellness.

As she continues to elevate the Paul Quinn women's basketball program, Alshaunda Roberts remains dedicated to developing champions on the court, in the classroom, and throughout their lives.
